My 1997 GC with the 4.0 has been throwing the po455 evap code for gross leak/no flow, Its been coming on for about 6 months so I just took the check engine light bulb out to get rid of it but now its time for inspection so was curious if theres any known easy fixes for it bfore the stealership smoke test it.I put another leak detection pump and canister filter for it from another GC and it kept the light on. Thanks in advance.

 

Gas cap or rusted through filler neck. If it is leaking that bad should be easy find

 

Thanks for the quick reply im gonna try putting a new mopar gas cap on soon and check out the neck. I also tried putting a nother purge solenoid from another GC with no luk prior.
