Default Overhead console vic dome lights radio not working

I've checked other threads and had trouble finding a possible cause. I pulled out my headliner today to repair with camoflauge and when going to reconnect the overhead console after connected and we were placing back in place until the headliner is repaired it killed the radio overhead console vic etc. figured my battery died as I was listening to music turned it off and then started it nothing. The console was working where it shows the outside temperature but the lights weren't working. After changing a blown 15 amp fuse number 8 The radio worked and the vic only worked if I pressed the set button. Before I replaced the fuse whenever I turned the jeep off a relay would click until I unplugged the second plug on the overhead console (the one closest to the rear hatch). I plugged them both in and the relay stopped clicking but now someone times the interior lights come on randomly (not a door issue already checked that) and the vic is still not working. If I press set it displays the time but no picture of the jeep like it usually does. Completely stumped on this one. Did something fry when I put the console back up or is something bad? Any tips appreciated

Sounds like something may have shorted When you took it apart. I'd check for anything that may be loose or frayed. I'd check that relay just to rule it out also.

And where is this particular relay located? And what would I be looking for?

A good rule of thumb is unhook the battery when playing with electrical. On many vehicles the wires may run through the computer and if shorted or even a static shock can mess up the cpu.
