I have an issue with my 96 5.2L ZJ Limited. I had an off roading accident a while ago and ever since my tranny has been acting up. It will only pass barely 2000 rpms in any gear and it seems like overdrive never kicks in. The OD light is always on and I can hit it to turn it off, but it never seems like OD kicks in. I noticed on my tranny pan that a rock seemed to dent in the pan, not too much, but enough. The dent/dents seem to be right over the governor pressure solenoid and sensor and I'm wondering if the rock might have jolted it enough to blow the solenoid and perhaps the OD solenoid. Also, after going up steep hills on my commute home the tranny seems to overheat. It's hard going up those hills stuck in third when it should be in fourth :/ I changed the fluid and the filter about 15,000-20,000 miles ago, so any ideas would be great.
