Hi, i bougth new OEM springs from jeep4x4center for my GC 4.0L 1993
Front:

The rear springs was 1/2" higher than the old and the lift was araound 1" and it looks nice. BUT the spring for the front is 4-5" higher than the old one and i cant compress it enough with coil spring compress to get it in. But could i have got wrong springs since they are so much longer than the old one, someone that has used this in here and that could tell me if they shoud be so long? On the back it was same numbers of turns, but the front has 4 turns more than the old one.
I ended up using 2 more coil spring isolators and then i got the same lift as the rear with my old front springs, but i want to use OME springs in the front to.

 

Their is a chance they sent you the front springs for a v8 model.

 

Even if they sent the ones for a V8 model they wont be any longer just have a higher spring rate to compensate for the heavier V8. I'd contact them and make sure they sent you the right springs.
