Is it okay to remove the muffler? I have a hole in my muffler and can't really put a new one in right now and was just wondering if it would pass smog if it didn't have a muffler on, I don't need to do the smog for a while but just thought about getting rid of it

 

It won't pass inspection w/o a muffler.. If it's a small hole, you might be able to find some muffler tape for a temporary fix.
