on my 2001 grand cherokee laredo im sure its the regulator but its down and i cant pull it up please help me on as to how i can get this up so i dont have to go around with a trash bag and tap

 

If it is like my '99 you will have to get a new regulator, there are a bunch of them on eBay somewhere around 40 to 50 bucks. Pull the door panel and install. Not too hard to do. Pick up a panel removal tool from Auto-zone to release the plastic snaps so you don't break them. It took me around an hour to replace.

 

well when one of my windows went out it stopped working on that door but i could still roll it up with the driver switch. turns out it was just the switch itself. since it was a small switch for the back door it was just a pocket part. didnt have to pay anything for it lol. but if that not hte prob then it is the regulator. never price checked those sorry i cant help ya there.
