NP242 XJ, ZJ or NP231 YJ ??

NP242 XJ, ZJ or NP231 YJ ??
I want to swap a AW4 from a Cherokee XJ 89 into a Grand Cherokee ZJ 96. I think I know how to connect all the wire from the AW4 the PCM on my ZJ.
I have the NP242 that is coming with the AW4 but the speedometer is a cable and the ZJ is electronic. The NP242 ZJ also has another connector with 4 wires. From what I read, the NP242 from the XJ 89 is 21 spline and the NP242 from the ZJ is 23 spline. What is the use of the connection with the 4 wires? Can I take the electronic sensor from the NP242 ZJ and swap it on the NP242 XJ?
I also have a NP231 with 21 spline from a YJ 93 that I kept in my garage. This NP231 has an electronic sensor and another connector with 4 wires.
I have the wiring diagram of the XJ 89 but I can’t find the one for the ZJ 96 and YJ 93. Do you know where I can find that?
