Though I haven't confirmed it yet, I don't believe my wife's 97zj is getting any spark.
A thief cut out the cat and pulled it out with the 02, leaving the wires. We were loading up onto the dolly today and it just died.
After reading, I had head about the ASD relay or some fuse blowing.
I separated the wires that were left from the o2. I then swapped the relays around (using the horn relay which worked fine), but still no go.
It turns over, but sounds a little sluggish, though it is 20 degrees outside right now.
I definitely smell gas, but it doesn't hit what so ever. I don't have anyone here right now to crank while I check for spark, but as it almost certain has fuel and is turning over... guessing it's spark related.
Anything else that would be worth a quick check?

With the o2 ripped out its a very good chance thats why it died. These tell the computer what is exiting the motor and programs fuel ratios. It may have dumped enough fuel and flooded it. Hense the fuel stink. Being 20 degrees outside prob isnt helping either...LOL

Check for a blown fuse in the under hood fuse box. The bare O2 wire will short out and blow the PCM fuse causing the no spark issue.

Looked like the fuse was ok. I swapped it around just to make sure. Once I figure out how to wire in the new 02, I will do that... just to eliminate it.
Common things that cause no spark:
-Crank Sensor (top of bellhousing)
-Cam sense (in dizzy)
-Coil
-PCM
None of those seem likely in your situation. If it ran before the 02 was ripped out, then it should run again with it reinstalled.
The thing that confuses me about your situation is the second O2 is giving you a problem - to my knowledge the 2nd O2 sensor is usually just for emissions and the computer doesn't use it in engine management. I would have thought it would trow a code - but still start.
good luck.
