Default No power, power windows?

I recently purchased my first Jeep a 1995 GC from my neighbor after looking at it in his driveway for about five years It had a engine issue I have fixed but I am on to my second fix. The power windows are not working? I have changed the relay but that didn't fix it. Was just wondering if this is something anybody has ever run into? Thanks

Wire harness in between the drivers door and body always brake. Take the black rubber cover off the wires (yes it's a pain in the a!) and check all your wires. The big black wire is prob the bad one (always is)
Solder or wire connector back together and check for other bad wires. If all good wrap em back up and try them windows ... I bet they work! And feel good cause you didn't have to pay a shop for the repair.

Thank you, OD! I will take a look and see what I can find. As far as the name goes, when it comes to Jeeps and this site I am a FNG!

You may also want to take a look at the window lock out switch in the drivers door.

Thanks OD! you were right the black wire was sheared off inside the lil' rubber boot between the door and body! Fixed, saved me lots of heart ache and cash! Now if I could only figure out why the engine Idles down 250rpm when I hold my foot on the gas at any where between 1500 and 3000? have changed the TPS and plugs. Anybody?

I've had to splice these wires so many times it's ridiculous.
