Last night I installed my Alpine IVA-310 stereo receiver and brain unit in my 2001 GC Laredo. Today it drove fine but tonight when I turned on the lights, I was told that I did not have any running lights, front or back. I also only have the driver's side brake light working. Headlights come on just fine and my instrument cluster lights up but not my console. I traced the wiring diagram today and remembered that I did not connect the Black and yellow wire off of the gray plug (4th wire from the right) that is labled as the Park Lamp Relay Output. At the time I did not connect it because; 1- never seen it at the radio before and 2- wasnt listed as required for radio play.
My question is what do I do with this wire? This is the only thing that I can account for that I missed. Does it need a pos or neg signal?

Ok, pulled out the receiver. Turns out I left two wires out. The orange AND the black and yellow going to the Body Control Module. The orange is the Panel Lamps Feed and the Black and Yellow is the Park Lamp Relay Output. Dont have a clue as to what to do. I know I have to connect them but dont know to what.

I am such a Dunce!!! I must have grazed the orange wire the other night. Thanks to the other post you gave me, I checked the fuse, #6. Sure enough it was blown. replaced the fuse leaving the Orange and the Black/Yellow wire bare and viola, I had lights again. And this was after I re-spliced all the power lines nice and neat like. Took me 2 hours to trace back to the fuse.
Thanks for the help
