you have a vacuum leak. Most of the time it is a broke "jeep egg" its the plastic ball that is in your passenger side front bumper. Just make sure everything is plugged in. And grab a spray bottle with some water and look for a vacuum leak.

I should've mentioned that my jeep is a 95 grand cherokee. I looke for the jeep egg in the passenger side front bumper but found only the two horns. Any more info would be appreciated. Thanks

You can enter the self diagnostics on the a/c control head if yours has automatic climate control. turn the ignition key to run but do not start it, hold the recirculator button and the a/c button at the same time, while holding the buttons turn the temperature control **** clockwise one click and release the two buttons. The control head will display codes that will lead you in the direction of the repair. I will post the code descriptions for you

P.S. Grand Cherokee is all electrical control....no vac hoses to test or look for. Most common problem is the distribution door creacks and falls down which would mean that the dash board would have to be removed and then remove the HVAC box and repair or replace the broken door
