newbie Jeeper with tranny issue
I found a great deal and couldn't pass it up on a 96 ZJ w/ 5.2V8. she has 33" Km2's on her with 6" inches of lift. She's got 205,XXX miles of experience. Only problem is she grabs REAL hard when i put her in drive. I checked the tranny fluid it was low but no metal flakes so i crawled up under her there was tranny fluid everywhere....up front???( and before someone asks I'm sure it tranny fluid, it's red and it's got the smell i'm new not stupid). There is no fluid back around the tranny it's self?? I'm thinkin it might be the radiator cause the coolant level is low as well. I can't tell if there is any coolant leakin cause of the tranny fluid. I've got a spot in the driveway under her about 4" around from where she has sat since i bought her home. I'm wonderin if it could be the tranny lines themselves. I'm sure that will be a knuckle buster job if it is. Any ideas?????
