Hi Members . I'm a newbie here to the Cherokee world . I have been a Mopar guy for 36 years and have worked on and owned just about everything . The closest I've come to a Jeep though was an 82 J10
which was an AMC . My sister has a 96 Grand Cherokee Laredo she will
sell me for $300 but she says she drives it 2 or 3 miles and it quits .
Is this a common problem and what should I look for ?

Crank sensor, cam sensor, fuel pressure, or a clogged exhaust. Hard to tell without looking at it.
