Question New Member needs help to a seemingly easy problem

There must be an easy fix for this problem, I just cant seem to find it.

2008 Laredo

I blew out my power outlet (battery). I checked the fuses and they weren't blown. Is it possible that the outlet itself is blown?? or does it have to be a fuse??. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If the fuses are good, I would check the connection on the back of the lighter (In the dash). Very few are very secure, try to reach behind and jiggle the crap out of it.

Welcome to CF.
There was a thread here the other day where someone had the same problem. Turns out he had overloaded the outlet and melted the wires leading to the outlet. He found the problem and fixed it.
