Rear main seal leak
I just bought a 2004 jeep grand Cherokee from a dealership. There is a grind when turning the steering wheel left only when driving. They said they consulted a jeep specialist who said it was a common problem and that they nerd to flush the fluid and refill. Then after having it home we noticed a leak under the right front tire. I took it to the local mechanic who said that he thought is was a real main seal. I know this is costly. I am bringing it back to the dealership tomorrow morning for the steering wheel deal and have already informed them of the other problem and what I found from the mechanic. On top of that I noticed a clucking noise when I first start it in the mprning which goes away within second and doesn't return until the morning again, which I was informed by someone from the forum was probably a dry start issue and not to be worried I'd it only lasts a few seconds. Hopfully they will fix it. I bought is sat. Anything else I should have them check? Please help. I don't want a lemon. I don't know much about vehicles as I am a woman who never cared as long as I got where I needed to go. Thanks!!!!!

Check and make sure these recalls have been performed on your '04, specially the heated seats, and steering gear items.>http://www.wjjeeps.com/recall.htm#2004
