my brother is looking at an 01 grand cherokee with 88000 miles he's 21 and has a kid and girlfriend just wondering what the life expectancy is on these jeeps the one he's lookin at is fully loaded laredo grand cherokee its selling for around 8000$$ is this a deal or not ?? will these go over 100000 with ease ??

 

The 4.0s are great motors, some have had half a million miles on them.

I'm not sure about the V8s, though. My buddies V8 took a dive on him.

As long as all maint has been done, it should be a great truck for them, esp with their family.

Hopefully he can get it for less than 8k though.

I've never heard of any tranny issues. But that doesn't mean this one won't have any. Best bet would be to look over everything.
