Not new to the jeep world at all sold my other rig and now bought a 95 Grand Cherokee Laredo and minus a few minor repairs that need to be done brakes, valve cover gasket etc I also have a cracked exhaust manifold, I know it's super common on these motors and I was doing some research on replacing it, I wasn't trying to go high performance but I saw some headers cheaper then the stock exhaust manifold what's everyone's opinion on a a average priced header vs stock manifold like I said this is nothing special just my winter daily driver

JMHO, but the stock header pipe is adequate to do the job as long as you buy one with the expansion joints in it. The span from the 1 and 6 cylinders causes the header to crack at the flange junction where the pipes come together. The expansion joints remove this stress.
Changing it is a major job because the intake manifold is mounted on the same bolts. The upper bolts are a piece of cake, the lower ones are a PITA! They must be torqued in sequence for a good seal and getting up and down to accomplish this is tedious.
Nice looking ride! It reminds me of my '97.

Your link doesn't show the part but yes, it has corrugated steel sections in the #1 and #6 pipe sections. I believe they are stainless, or should be. I bought mine from rockauto.com for my '97 and it was still good 4 years later when I sold it.
