New engine time!!!
Alright my engine just isn't up to par anymore. Not enough power, ticking that won't go away clunking and so on the 4.7 just isn't where I need it. I'm looking to swap to a different v8 I want suggestions on different types and tranny/t-case pairs? I'm thinking GM engines. ( do not try to tell me anything other then v8 pretty set on that)
Thanks Alex.
Thanks Alex.

No, I don't lick fish.
LS1 and a 4L60 would be pretty cool to see in a WJ - not sure what TC would pair up with it... I would recommend keeping your current TC and getting an adapter from advance adapters though... otherwise with most TC's used in later GM vehicles, you'll be stuck with push-button crap

Ugh... I would go with the 242... Has 4full-time, 4part-time, 2hi, n, 4lo - best if all worlds if you ask me... And e-lockers are great... I'd like to run one in my xj
