Default new to cherokee questions

hey, so i was wondering how is 100,000 miles on a 2001 cherokee? im looking to get one and thats the one i can get a deal on. never liked cars with over 100,000. the guy replaced like 5 things the same year he traded it in to the dealership. scary, but at the same time, it was taken care of and it has new parts on it. he has service records of changing oil every 4,000 miles. at 100,000 he did differential fluid. its got the 4.7, dont believe its the HO

here is a link to the jeep

also if i get it, im looking at getting the rough country 4" suspension lift on it. will it fit my 285/75/17 tires?

100k is hardly anything anymore. Cars built in the last 10-15 years have almost become bullet proof, some have their quirks, but almost all cars and trucks will last for hundreds of thousands of miles if maintained properly.

definatley true 100k is nothing, looks like one clean GC though, here in michigan that thing would of been rotted out to the frame by now

Not sure on the Grand Cherokees, but i bought my 01 Cherokee with 99k miles on,, Did the normal change on all fluids and it has some minor easy things to replace like all vehicles around that mileage. But most will last a long time. Just do your research and have a mechanic look at it.
