So, I'm a total rookie. I have a 96 grand Cherokee limited. Planning to get new tires in a few months. I wanna get some wheels as well. My first thoughts are getting the stock alloy wheels powder coated, but also thinking about some steel off road wheels. Big question is , what is the best set up, without getting the jeep lifted or changing suspension components

I have black "d hole" steel wheels from summit, 200 bucks for 4, with 31X10.50. The wheels have 4.25 inch backspacing. Had to pound the pinch weld flat, and trim the bumper to keep them from rubbing on road. If you want totally rub free preformance, u can use the stock wheels with 30x9.50

Depending on what you are looking for, Mustang wheels are a direct bolt on to our ZJs. Great prices at this website also. They are listed as per set of 4.

4wd.com has some good prices on wheels and also tires.com, which is discount tire will match anybodies prices on tires as well as put certificates on the tires just in case you get a non repairable tire you only have to pay a percentage of the tire to get it repaired
