Default Need tire help !

I have a 96 jeep zj with a 5.2L v-8. I'm looking at putting a 4" lift kit on it . I believe I can fit 33-12.50-15 but was wondering if anyone had done this before with their jeep ??
Any advice ??

I got a 3.5" with 32x11.50's on 15x8 inch wheels had do some minor trimmming to the bumper to get them to clear on the front, they fill the rear fender walls up fully flexed, I want to go to 33's but I don't want to cut it up so I will probly just stick to 32's

I trimmed the front bumper, and used a nice size hammer to bend the pinch weld back a little on the fender, I've had it flexed out a few times and no problem with it rubbing, I would suggest flexing it out and see where its gonna be rubbing and go from there, with 33's there's probly gonna be alot of rubbing and a lot of cutting, as long as you take your time and don't just start hacking a way at it u should be fine

You should've extended your bumpstops. People run 33's on a 2" BB w/ proper BS, bumpstopping, and fender trimming.

OP- 33's on 4.5" would be fine. I'm running 35's on 5.5", and have test fitted 36's.

Limiting straps aren't going to stop you from rubbing the tires. You need to extend the bumpstops. There's a rule of thumb, just a general guideline, for each inch you lift it more, you put that much more bumpstop in.

Limiting straps would limit the axle droop, not prevent the uptravel that rubs tires.
