Default need a keyless fob

Our son broke the keyless entry fob for our 2000 Grand Cherokee, now the alarm goes off at will and it is driving me nuts. We need a new fob, what is the cost of a new one and how much BS is there to get one?

lot of locksmith do them now too and are cheaper then the dealer. Last I checked dealer wand about $85 for the fob and $40 to program. We have a place here at a local mall that says they are much cheaper then the dealer. I will let you know what it cost the wife and I are getting a key made for her car and a FOB programed for my 2003 Cherokee this Thursday.

or a welding rod to open the door would have been a little less intrusive

Thanks guys, I see Amazon has the remote for around $40, but then will have to have it programed.

www.keylessride.com will have what you need, but you will need the dealer to program it for you.
