need help with rough idle at stop light
i have a 98 grand cherokee laredo 4.0 just about to hit 206k miles.
i have had it since 2000 and bought it with 68k mikes on it.
recently i started to notice a rough idle when i am at a stop light.
previously this would happen when i was low on oil. i change my oil every month as i have a continuous leak. i replaced the valve cover gasket, the oil pan gasket and still i see drops in the driveway. which direction should i go?
plugs, cap & wires?
gas additive injector cleaner?
or what?
any help would be greatly appreciated..
thanx in advance..

If you haven`t done the plugs, wires, cap and rotor yet, with 200k on the clock it needs those. Your oil leak may be the rear main seal. The 4.0 is famous for that. Not real difficult to replace.
