Default Need help with ignition problem

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Lately, when I start the vehicle shortly after an icon of a circle with a key lights up on the dashboard. Within 5 seconds the vehicle will shut off and will not start for about 2 hours. Once it does restart it runs fine and the light does not come back on the dash. Wondering what this could possibly be?

My hunch is possibly the ignition module that reads the chip and switch but not sure exactly where this is located from looking at the manual.

Thank You
