I have an '04 Grand Cherokee 4.7L V8 2WD WJ and I want to upgrade the exhaust. I want a more aggresive sound so I'm going to replace my muffler. I want either a Flowmaster 40 series or a super 44. Will the muffler at the bottom of the page fit? What else will I need to replace it? Is there a muffler better than this? My local exhaust shop wants $100 just to install it so I will be doing it myself. Any other tips? Thanks in advance.

well i put my glasspack on my xj myself,but to install it i just cut the pipe,then slid on the muffler,clapped it then put a turndown pipe,but measure ur stock muffler,then measure the flowmaster,and then you can find out how much you need to cut or how much extra pipe u need to add on if ur gonna have it run out the stock tip,or u might be able to run it out the side with a wide mouth flat tip
but the trush welded is the same as the FM40,just alot cheaper
