Need Help ASAP Jeep keeps blowing fuel injector
Hey guys.....I am traveling across the country from Rhode Island to California and my 2000 Jeep just randomly died on me. What happened is that I had cruise control on traveling at 60 mph. I had to go up an incline and my RPM's went from 2k to 4k then stalled out. I ended up blowing the 15 amp fuel injector fuse, I have broken this down into six possible causes:
1) a bad fuel injector
2) something blocking the gas line which could be in the fuel filter
3) a wire that is beginning to corrode around the o2 sensor which is grounding the wire.
4) a wire that is beginning to corrode that runs off that 15 amp fuse
5) flush the fuel rails because something might be blocking asses to fuel
6) a bad fuel pump
I have just replaced the PCM on the Jeep and it did nothing. Please give me any advice that you may have or stories that you might have had. Thanks everyone!!

The only thing I see feeding off that fuse are the injectors and a wire going to the PCM labeled ASD Relay Out. Does the fuse blow constantly or just that one time?
That fuse is fed by the ASD relay. Do you have spark? Does the fuel pump turn on? The ASD powers the coils, fuse 26 15A which is the injectors and also the O2 sensors thru fuse 16 10A.
1 and 4 seem to be the best answer, but electricity is a challenge to understand at times.
I would check the ASD relay and fuel pump relays. Check all fuse in the PDC and the junction panel. check for a spark. Do a resistance check on the injectors. Not sure of the value for your vehicle, mine is supposed to be 12 ohm. You should read some resistance.
