iv had it given to me to bulid but it has no spark ,iv put in cps but didnt work any hint...thanks

 

A little more detail.What motor and does it turn over?

Check the fuses under the hood, check for voltage at the primary side of the coil, and check for a pulsing ground at the primary side of the coil. If you have voltage and no pulsing ground, you need a cam sensor (AKA the pick up coil). If you have no voltage at the coil at all, you need to find the open in the circuit.

 

Have you checked the codes yet? I assume when you say cps you are talking about the crank sensor. May be the camshaft position sensor.

 

start at nthe beginning>power to dist. -on to cap&rotor>>>

 

there is also a 20A fuse ib the power distribution center next to the batt. that shuts down the motor
