Hello everyone,
I just bought a 2006 grand cherokee with a hemi and the quadra drive 2 and it is my first vehicle that I've ever owned that wasn't a muscle car.

I'm somewhat handy in a garage, I just don't know where to start or what I am dealing with, in this new beast.

I am using this jeep as my fall/winter time vehicle and it will see a fair bit of highway running, so I need it to be stable and handle fairly well at speed and on ice....and of course, anything to help the MPGs ;-)

But the real reason I bought a jeep was for the fun, I like to get out and do trails, fish the back lakes, and tour around my buddies hunting camps etc.

I need some help getting started modding, I was thinking about an air intake (just to give the hemi enough sound so that I can tell its running) and then perhaps a 2" lift and some 32" tires (Roughtly) And I would like to do some kind of a front bar with extra lights and a winch.

Any suggestions, sites to visit, or better ideas? . . . I am willing to listen.
