my buddy has a 99 g. Cherokee and he has a strange rattle come from the front of his jeep ... It is only once and a while ... I can't find any loose heat shield or exhaust parts .... Any advice ? Anyone ? Thanks in advance

 

Cats will do that some times, they get loose inside and are very annoying.

 

I'd imagine you've already checked, but skidplates?

 

by skid plates you mean the various metal plates surounding the exhaust right ... They're all tight ... I'm thinking cat ... But thanks for the input
