I finally traded my Yukon for a 97 ZJ. I have a few questions, the parking brake doesn't work, is there a drum brake for the parking brake or does it use the rear disc brakes? also occasionally I hear a clunking noise, I checked under the front end and everything seems tight. I can't quite pin point the source of the noise. any common wear points I should look at?
FYI: it has the 4.0L and select trac 4WD. the mileage is 125K

The parking break in the rear is a drum on the inside of the rear rotor. As far as clunks it kind of depends when you have them. The clunk that I have fixed so far is the bottom of the shock loop, iw was a small clunk caused by the bar pin not being tight in the bushing. I used the bar pin eliminator from JKS, which compresses the bushing to remove the slack. Upon inspection it seemed tight but when I replaced it, the clunk dissapeared. The major one I have left is my front ball joints, this one is a loud clunk when hitting large dips. I have 130k on my 98 zj right now, so we are at about the same place right now.
