More performance
I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee with a 4.0 and looking for advice on performance upgrades. I just installed a thrush welded muffler and it sounds better but now looking for other upgrades.......... air raid cold intake? best 4" lift with death wobble fixes? etc. ?? Let me know what I could do to improve my stock ride.

CAI(I like AFE), 3" exhaust, superchips programmer, TB, 4-hole injectors(mainly better mpg). That's pretty much it unless you want to go all out, like stroking the motor.

If you want my opinion, don't mess with it. It's only 185 hp but is reliable and is adequate to power the vehicle.
Also, the stock induction system IS a cold air system because it draws air from in front of the radiator and flows more than the engine draws. You can relocate the IAT from the manifold to the intake adapter before the throttle body (plastic) for more power. (less mileage, however)
Just remember, the bigger the tires, the more stress is on that little D35 axle, especially in 2WD.
