Its generally accepted that MOPAR sensors are the way to go. Mine work fine. I just want to change them out and I am not wanting to pay twice as much or more for them. I don't believe the ones currently in use are MOPAR brand.

 

The key to all electronic sensors is quality of construction and the ability to produce signals within designed limits. For instance, the CPS is a magnetic switch that senses changes in it's magnetic field produced by objects passing by it's position. Mopar CPSs use a neodymium magnet, aftermarket ones don't, therefore they are cheaper. TPS is a resistor that controls the voltage going thru it in fine increments thus telling the PCM how far open the throttle plate is. The IAC is a stepper motor that controls a piston to regulate how much air bypasses the throttle plate, controlling the idle speed.

Any company can produce these items so they work, however how long they work and how prefect the signal or function is questionable.

It's your jeep, therefore your decision. I myself would use Mopar.
