Hello , i recently bought a 02 Limited WJ , and the other day i stared at the odometer and saw a series of numbers that did not lit, you can see it below the numbers has an A/S 12345 what are this for ???
Are mine damaged or what?

 

Those are just part of the module, but IDK their function. My 2000 has a "cruise" light that does the same thing in that spot. BTW, go to wjjeeps.com for more info about your jeep than you'll ever want to know.

I think I have figured it out. I recently drove a new Compass that had a manual shift option on the automatic transmission with a light on the dash telling you what gear you were in. Sort of like a paddle shifter, but done by sideways motion of the shifter. It may have something to do with your lights.

 

Interesting to say the least.
