my bad, i was mentioning t10 type parking bulbs. those little ones are problematic if they are not well made.
i did my led conversion by getting rid of those bulbs and putting seperate led in different locations in hvac panel. but it is not reccomended, becasue i lost metal plate behind middle **** which directs vacuum and it serves as a simple electrical contact with small steel ***** and i lost AC. i later found metal plate behing shifter, and installed and realized that little springs pushing steel ***** into **** are missing! then i improvized, and did a AC mod to run without defrost etc. long story. so do not dismantle that hvac ***** if you are not sure that you can install everything back correctly.

The bulbs in question here are t5 bulbs. They go out all the time. Just go on eBay and do what I did. I got 10 led bulbs for $2 shipped. That way if they go out again I'll have extra for cheap.

Ok guys found the bulbs and there numbers...
the smaller one on the headlight switch lower position is a T-1 part number 8111 wire terminal base, 14 volt, .065 amp at $1.20. on line.
I found them at Radio Shack for 1.99 for 2.
the larger of the two on the headlight switch is a T-1 3/4, wire terminal base, 14 volt, .08 amp, at $.69 each, Radio shack did not have these on hand, just out of stock.
I went to a local electroics shop, Kings, in Indianapolis and he had both on hand the T 1 3/4's were 1.10 each or 10 at $.52 each..
there are colored bulbs available in these sizes also.
Web site for bulbs is bulb town.. easy to find...

OK I finally got around to replacing the bulbs in the switch pods on my zj.. 41 screws and 2 bolts to drop the sterring wheel and I got to the pods.. Took about an hour to do the whole job.. Man sure don't make it easy to fix the bulbs.. Cost under $5 for the bulbs. Could not get the bases and bulbs together had to order the bulbs seperately and put in my bases.. Not a hard job at all just time consuming. If you want to replace all the bulbs you need 2 T 1 !/4 bulbs, 2 T 1 bulbs, and 4 T 1 3/4 bulbs. that will replace all the bulbs on the two switch pods on both sides of the sterring column. Hope this helps someone. I believe the 93 - 95 zj's have the same set of switch pods.
