Local Stealership. I know Advance and Autozone do not have them. OReillys might but I doubt it. Check Rockauto.com too. Id bet they do have them. The mini bulb for the heater control is blown in my XJ and they are the only place that has them.

Just a guess, but do those bulbs separate from the little holders? Seems to me they should, but it IS a Jeep

Sorry, not going to look them up but there are a few bulb specific companies on the internet that sell them, I found that out when looking for some LED bulbs, just google "automotive bulbs" or "automotive lighting" or something like that.

Those bulbs are kind of specific, but pretty popular in a lot of automotive apps. Dealers will have or can get them. I have a little stock pile of them that I scavenged from replacement clusters and from misc trips to a salvage yard. A few of those designs have replaceable bulbs, those look like an assembly, but if you're careful you can replace the bulb itself, maybe even install an LED in place, Radio Shack should have little bulbs or LED's that might fit.

I've picked some up at the local Radio Shack. They do come apart.

You all are great. Had already checked the local dealerships and was told by all that was not a customer repair item and would have to replace the entire control unit at 175 to 275 Dollars each.. parts and 2 hours labor.. each.. Checked the local shops ie Autozone etc and no luck, local Jy said I could have what I needed.. 6 Jeeps no longer have dash lights ... Ha Ha ...Tested all of them and only a few worked..guess they have a tentendence to go out. I'm going to try Radio Shack tomorrow an see if I can match up a new bulb for my sockets as they will come apart as someone suggested earlier.

GMV93 the ebay site was awesone with a lot of great products.. thank you I may try a couple of them in the future to see how they look..with all the work it will take to replace these if they ever go out again I will use the led ones to replace them the next time.
thank you once again one and all.

i am glad you found some info.
in general chinese led products are driven at higher voltages than it should. i believe they want to have more light on their products. i am sometimes buying similar led bulbs ,most of them are t10 type bulbs (parking lights) and if install them on car, they often fail in 1 month. so i use 67 ohm resistor or two 67 ohms at both wires on bulbs.( 134 ohms) they illuminate weaker but will last 1 year!

if they are chinese made, i am sure thay are all same. try bulbs with an external 12V source before using them on car. if they are heating more than being warm, you need to use resistor in series.

checking back on this post and was wondering how to put resistor in series with these bulbs since they mount on the circuit board. ???? see pic at top
