Lower tranny line
I'm trying to replace the lower transmission line in my 95 grand cherokee and have hit a snag. Getting it disconnected was no problem but getting it out is something else. There's a part just before the line connects to the tranny that sits below it and is preventing me from pulling it down and out. I'm not sure what this part is and am hesitant about removing it. Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated!

The throttle valve and shifter mechanism are right there on the drivers side, but you should be able to work around them. Even if you need to un-hook them it's no big deal.

Thanks, Dan. I appreciate the quick response. I guess my question is: how do i disconnect that part? It looks like it should have some sort of a quick disconnect but for the life of me I can't figure out how to unhook it. It should come apart at the metal plate where the plastic parts connect, right? Sorry for the newbie lingo, this is a new procedure for me.
