Lost reverse

2000 grand cherokee- had tranny flush and 1st-reverse bands adjusted- been running great- suddenly lost reverse- any ideas? on what to do?

no reverse

Forgot to mention- this is a 4.0 with 42Re transmission.shift cable is moving- any switches to check? Apparently not locking in- has forward speeds, just no reverse

heyy buddii im suffering from the same problem!!! did u work out wat was the problem with your autoo so i can have a clear knowlegde on wat to doo!!! cheers

no reverse

Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, I also had issue with forward speeds- locked in 1st- have been forced to have it re-built for $1500 and when tearing apart found cracked valve body-which apparently was causing all the issues-
