I have a burned out bulb in the back of my heated seats dash switch. I removed the bulb and I can't read anything on it and my searches online have only come up with a led conversion bulb. It appears they call that bulb a neowedge bulb? Anyone replaced the bulb with another oem bulb or does everyone just change the bulbs to led's? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

I just went through the same thing... Went to the local JY and pickup some for NC and then went on line a got some at I think 5 for $2 or somethink like that.. There are other bulbs available on line besides the LED's. Hard to fine. if I can fine them again I'll leave a link..

depends on which bulb you are looking for
The real small one is a t-1, wire terminal base, 14 volt, .065 amp, at 1.20 each,
the larger one is a T- 1 3/4, wire terminal base, 14 volt, .08 amp, at .69 each.
I got mine at a local electroics store, Kings, in Indianapolis, the T- 1 3/4 for .52 cents each, have to get 10, or 1.20 ea and the T-1 for $1.99 for 2 at radio shack.

Just remove the socket from the pod, carefully unwind the leads for the bulb and straighten them out, gentlly pull bulb from base and replace with new bulb and rewind wire lead and cut off as needed. Inexpensive fix as dealer would not sell the bulbs and wanted to replace the pod to the tune of a little under $320. Not in my life time.
