Left side light and left tail light fail

I've got a 1999?. Imported 2.5lt Orvis Cherokee (grand?) wj? Absolute nail!!
Latest problem..
I've changed the bulbs and checked the fuses in footwell by steering wheel no problem fuses am I missing something obvious?

Did ya check fuses for power ?

Hi. Thanks for your reply

Yeah I checked all the fuses initially but as they're really easy to get at and check
(NOT!) I had to take out the kick panel where the fuses are and managed to take them
Out one at a time as I've no handbook to indicate the right fuse and
Indeed one had gone...

Check the light assembly itself. You could have a pinched wire where they come out of the body or a bad socket (bulb holder). Check the brass brush contacts for damage.
