LED in WJ Brake lights?

LED in WJ Brake lights?
has anyone put LEDs in their 3 brake lights? if so do i need load resistors or relays or is it direct plug and play. i kno with turn signals u need them but how bout the rear brake lights?
Since my TRS/soloinoid is bad i have no reverse lights so i figure something brighter like leds when i reverse n tap the brake lights would be sufficient for now.
