Yesterday I purchased a V8 4.7 it's an incredible car - powerful and silky smooth
But needs some minor work - front brake disks and a CV boot need replaced.
There is also an oil leak from the sump is this common, will 'stop leak' additive be any good, the 10 CD changer only plays one disc, does this model have an OBD11 socket where is it located ?.
The Jeep only has 89.000 miles, what are the common faults with this model ?.
TY in advance

It's more cost effective to replace the whole shaft instead of messing with the boots only to find out the joints are bad. Do not use any kind of stop leak, fix the oil leak right. Putting junk in the engine to stop leaks does more harm than good. The OBDII data link plug is on the driver side at the bottom of the dash. Not sure about the disc changer.

What type of CD's are you trying to load into the player? If they were burned by you, you may have burned them at too fast of a speed (usually anything more than a 2x speed burn the player cannot read the disk), and sometimes the player gets fickle with Rewritable disks. If the CD's you're using are prerecorded, and you're having problems then the player is shot. Can you tell if the CD's are being loaded by the player when you switch disks? Also make sure that you load the CD's into the magazine right side up. You can find a replacement in eBay quite easily.
Also it's not a car, it's a Jeep...
