Jeep won't start while engine is hot
I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 engine.
It starts fine but after I drive for a bit then stop and turn the jeep off, it won't start while the engine is still hot. Once it cools down it starts.
I've changed the crack shaft sensor and it still does it.
I was told that it could be the PCM? Is that possible? The guy told me that he had a jeep that uses to happen to and he had a can of contact cleaner that he would spray on it and it would cool it down enough to start.
Ideas?
Thanks!

Back in the day, that type scenario was a dead give away that a starter or solenoid was bad. But I haven't dabbled for over 30 years. Best of luck.
You are posting in the "cherokee" section. We have a 4.0 six cylinder. You may want to try the Grand Cherokee section and find someone that has had the exact issue.
That being said, more info would help. When you say it won't start what exactly is it doing? Cranking endlessly and not catching? Not cranking at all? You are going to get different answers based off symptoms.
