looks like it sticks to the glass with the suction puck and I found it in the center console of the '06 Cherokee I just bought (today). Is it a holder for something?

 

Mount for a navigation until? Not part if the jeep. Congrats on the new purchase though.

 

Looks like a cheap ***** cup holder or something. See if you can squeeze a Bud Light in there.. If ya can, Congrats!..If not, trash it.

 

That's the suction mount for a TomTom GPS. I have the exact same thing for my TomTom XXL.

Nope, sorry. I'm old enough that my navigating is done in my head or with a big folded piece of paper called a map.

BTW, I love the compass readout on my overhead console. It's really helpful when you're cruising back country roads.
