Jeep Grand Cherokee Tuneup - remove intake manifold?
Hi All - I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee, 4.7HO v8. I am trying to do a tune up and so far have removed the throttle body, cleaned it and wanted to go a little further and clean the intake manifold. I am attempting to remove it, but am having trouble getting it off. How do you get it off and should I be taking it off?? As far as the tune up goes - is there anything else I should be doing while I've got this all apart? Thanks.

I dont see any need in removing the intake unless a gasket is leaking or you need access to remove engine etc. I dont recall having any problems removing the intake though. A tune-up should just involve things like filters, spark plugs and maybe injector flush/clean.
