Duh, yeah! How about the plug wires? How about the coil? Have you checked if high voltage is even present? Could be the cam position sensor inside the distributor. Check for fuel at the injector rail.
You never mentioned what year it was. Obviously, it's old enough to have a distributor, is it old enough to have a carb?

if the vehicle is as old as dave thinks with a real distributor, it's got to be the points. if it's a more modern vehicle, check your crank position sensor. also called the crankshaft position sensor. if your coil went bad, it isn't gonna fire up till you change it. did this happen over night or all of a sudden? have you had warning signs for a while & just didn't think it was all that serious? give some more info on the specifics. it helps narrow down the possibilities. hell, it might even need a new distributor shaft if it's really that old. hope you check your fluids more often than every 12 years. lol

Okay. With a 94, you've got a cam position sensor inside the distributor and an external coil. If you got zapped, obviously the coil is good. You've got fuel pressure to the rail. Do you have power to the injectors? Try swapping the ASD (Auto Shut Down) relay with another one and see if it starts. One of the headlight relays is a good swap. Otherwise you're into cam or crank position sensors.
