Intermittent charging problem
My 96 Jeep Cherokee has an intermittent charging problem. Sometimes I start it and it reads 9 to 10 volts. I put it in drive and drive for a short distance and it drops to zero and everything dims causing the check gauges light to come on. By restarting it several times I can get it to charge normally around 14 volts and is fine again until I restart it. Autozone said I had a code locked in that said the TPS was bad. Replaced it and still have the same problem. I have verified voltage charge drops when it reads zero and have cleaned/checked connectors. It is happening more frequently now. Please help!
