So I recently bought some Polk tweeters for my WJ and I've been having troubles deciding what the easiest way to install them is. If you are not familiar with the Polk db1001's, I will upload a picture of what all came in the package.

My WJ has a quick disconnect for the stock tweeters, which would be amazing if the tweeters had the same connection. What I was thinking about doing for my problem is snipping the connection that is already in the Jeep and trimming the wire on the tweeters. Then I was going to hard wire the open wires together and throwing together a makeshift mount for it and drilling it in place so it doesn't rattle at all.

Basically all I'm here to ask is if you guys have installed 1001's into your Jeep or have a better idea of how to do this? Thanks everyone in advance, I appreciate any/all help I can get haha.
