So my brother has been looking for a deal on a zj for a while. I stumbled upon a 1997 with a 4.0, 4x4 selec-trac set up with 158,xxx on the dash. The jeep runs amazing but am worried about a possible electrical problem. The info center and overhead console lights up and works however I have no guage lights. All the guages work and warning lights come on but no lights. I had a similar issue with my xj and had to replace the head light switch. I checked the fuses and they were good as well. Does anyone have any idea what this could be or maybe and past experiances with trouble shooting.
