Ignition issues

Default Ignition issues

Hey guys I got a 2005 grand cherokee 4.7. So driver side front coil pack keeps birning up. This issue has up stumped. Replaced coil and plugs. Had computer checked. Has power going into the coil pack but none coming out. Has anyone had this issue? Plz need help. Thank you

Do you currently have a check engine light on, or engine codes to mention?

You should check or replace the ignition capacitor on that bank. The coils are hot whenever the key is on and are grounded thru drivers in the PCM. They only spark when they are un-grounded. The capacitors are there to protect the PCM from the backsurge current when the coil's magnetic field collapses. They are mounted between the center 2 coils on each bank.
