On the 1994 ZJ we just bought it has been having idling issues. So I replaced the plugs, cap rotor, and coil. It helped out but it was still idling up and down. So i decided maybe the throttle needs to be cleaned? So i got Throttle Body cleaner, gave it a nice cleaning. Again, helped but not normal yet. Went ahead and got an IAC, put it in and it ideled at 3k RPMS! So I figured it must be bad. Took it out put the old one back in and SAME THING!! It is running like there isnt one in there. WTF! Anybody know anything?

 

let it idle for a little it has to adjust mine did the same thing and make sure al of the linkages on the throttle body are on

 

Thats what i figured, I drove home (normally a 45 minute drive) and i didnt even have to press the gas and was going 55 MPH the whole way! I drove around for an hour and it never stopped. Im buying another IAC and A TPS today so i guess we will see what happens..
